SURREY - There are reports that a Surrey trafic cop was seriously injured Monday night after being hit by a motorcycle.
Reports say it happened shortly before midnight on the Pattullo Bridge.
“The member [of the RCMP] suffered significant injuries and remains in hospital,” Cpl. Scotty Schumann told CBC. “It doesn’t appear, for whatever reason, the motorcyclist saw him in time to stop or saw him at all.”
Schumann told CBC the officer’s injuries are not life threatening but he will be off work for some time.
