VIDEO: Woman in serious condition after Guildford hit and run

RCMP are on the lookout for the driver of a silver or gray car

A woman is in hospital with serious injuries following a hit-and-run in North Surrey on Sunday evening.

RCMP received multiple 911 calls and arrived to find a woman struck by a car at the 10200 block of 149 Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m. Residents had come to the aid of a 47-year-old Surrey woman who had sustained serious head and leg injuries. The woman was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.

Surrey RCMP are asking that anyone who may have witness the collision, or observed the silver or gray car driving away from the collision are asked to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.solvecrime.ca.
