Albert Wilson Ghabour Hanna passed away suddenly on Tuesday November 7, 2006. Albert was born in Cairo, Egypt on October 29, 1942 and immigrated to Canada as a young engineer in 1966. He completed a Master's degree at McGill University and worked in various jobs as a professional engineer from Newfoundland to the West Coast. Albert loved his life in Canada and took advantage of the West Coast outdoors through sailing, golfing, walking, scuba diving, sea kayaking, horseback riding, flying and he also loved to dance. He loved his family and was very proud of his two daughters Melanie and Christine. He will be deeply missed by his daughters and their mother Marie-Louise, his brothers Alfred (Magda) and Maher, his sisters, Simone (Tom) and Yvette and his nieces and nephews, Justin, Vanessa, Mandy, Jessica, Richard, Francois, Genevieve, Jenny, Stephanie and Andrew. He joins his mother Alice, and father Wilson. The funeral service was held Tuesday Nov. 14, 2006 at Star of the Sea Church.
