Born January 27, 1917 in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England.
Died August 29, 2005 at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, BC Canada, after a long fight with prostate cancer but always cheerful and hopeful.
He leaves Betty, his dear wife of 63 years, his loving daughters Carole (Bil) and Angela (late Earle); grandchildren who will miss their loving "Gan", Samantha (Brian), Ritchie, Adam (Kim) Aaron, and Jason and loving friend Irene; great-grandchildren Blake, Sasha and Joel.
He will be missed in England by his dear sister-in-law Joy and brother-in-law John (Jean); nephews Graham (Karen), David (linda); and many friends.
He loved White Rock for 21 years and met so many friendly people on his morning walks.
Many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses on the 5th floor and palliative unit for their gentle care.
Private cremation and Service of Remembrance was held on Friday, September 2, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Ave, Surrey.
