Alice passed away peacefully on January 17, 2009 at the Peace Portal Lodge in Surrey. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Stewart), grandchildren, Tanya (Taylor) and Dale (Joelle) and great grandchildren Dawson and Taggert. Survived by sister Meta (Fred) of Kamloops and Freda of Medicine Hat.
Alice was a long time resident of White Rock, settling here with her husband Merrill in 1947. She spent over fifty years volunteering for the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary both at Superfluity Store and the hospital Gift Shop.
