Smulders-vanderLande, Alida. Born November 10, 1921 in Deventer, The Netherlands. Passed away peacefully in Vancouver, BC on December 29, 2005. Predeceased by her husband Emile, her brother Karel and her grandson Geoffery. Survived by her loving family, sons Bert (Lura); Jan (Alice); Paul; daughter Emily; her 13 grandchildren and many friends. Sincere thanks to the staff at UBC Hospital that cared for Moeder with such tenderness. A Celebration of her life to be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831-28th Avenue, Surrey on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the "Geoff Smulders Memorial Scholarship" in her memory would be much appreciated.
