DOBSON, Allan Ernest. In White Rock, BC May 20, 2004, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. Al was born October 12, 1934 in Dodsland, SK where he grew up on his parents farm. In his early teens, he moved to White Rock to attend school, before returning to his brother's farm in the early 1950's. In 1954, he met Joyce. They married in 1956 and moved to Calgary , AB. Obtaining his CA, he spent his working career with a number of oil and gas companies before retiring to White Rock in 1994. In White Rock he started a private CA practice and was associated with World Serve Ministries. He will always be lovingly remembered by his wife Joy, his three sons Ross, Ryan (Cathy) and Kevin (Julie), and by his three grandchildren Rylie, Taylor, and Jacob. The family expresses sincere gratitude to the doctors and staff of the Peace Arch Hospital and the Surrey Memorial Hospital, who tirelessly worked and assisted Al as he battled against the cancer.
