Passed away on February 5, 2006 from Mesothelioma at the age of 66.
He is survived and mourned by his loving wife Marlene, married 31 years; seven children: Linda Lopes, Barbara (Dave) Strijack, Corey (Angela) Hancharyk, Brent Hancharyk, Susan (John) McDade, Sherry (Jim) Baker, Allan (Lynda) Goertzen; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters Lucy (Mac) MacDonald, Pauline (Ernie) Ottoson and Grace Genereux; nieces and nephews. Thank you and appreciation go to the Peace Arch Hospital Palliative Care Unit for all their wonderful care, help and encouragement, and the Hospice Society Volunteers.
