Anna Pauline Hunter

Anna Pauline Bjorg Hunter (nee Axdal) was born on November 10, 1920 in Wynyard, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on March 14, 2003 at Morgan Place Care Home in South Surrey with family at her side.

Predeceased by her parents Thordur and Jona Axdal (Sigurdson); her brothers Woodrow, Kristinn, Johnny, Halli; her sisters Olive (Babe); Mae; and her husband Ralston (Rolly) in 1979. Anna/Bjorg is survived by her children Llwewellyn (Antoinette), Jerrilyn (John), and Larry (Laurie); her sisters, Lenora, Evelyn, Elmina, Emily, Louise (Ferg); and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Charles King of Crescent Beach for his care over the years. Special thanks to the staff at Cobden wing in Morgan Place whose excellent and considerate care gave Anna/Bjorg much comfort during her final months. You are very special people.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Parkinson's Society of B.C. #600 - 890 W. Pender, Vancouver, B.C. V6C 1J9 would be appreciated. No service by request. A private family celebration of her life will be conducted after interring her ashes along side those of her husband's at Victory Memorial Park.
