Ferris Archibald Andrew (Archie). Archie lived a long and good life, loved by all his family and many friends in White Rock. Born April 10, 1922 in Vancouver, he died peacefully on August 22, 2009 in Peace Arch Hospital. Predeceased by his longtime companion Agnes Sinclair and brothers, Harry, Fred, Wally and George, he is survived by his brother Harold and many nieces and nephews. Archie was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces in WW11 serving in Great Britain and Europe. A longshoreman for over 45 years, Archie made many friends on the waterfront, and in retirement, at the Kent Street Activity Centre, the Peace Arch Curling Club, the White Rock Elks #431 and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 240. An avid crib player and lawn bowler, he will be missed by all his friends. He will be remembered for his generosity, smile, handshake, and pat on the back.
