EISNER, Arnold Wilfred (88), son of Anna and Gustav Eisner, husband to Florence, and father to John, passed away in his sleep on February 29, 2008. Arnie was a superb musician and athlete in his early years, winning the Alberta Junior Baseball Championship in 1937. He served in WWII with distinction as a Warrant officer, First Class, being in charge of an advance mobile radar unit. In his later life he traveled with Florence to many exotic venues and continued to play golf and to curl, winning many local tournaments and bonspiels. Arnold is lovingly remembered by his son, John and his daughter-in-law Joanne; his brother Martin and his wife Jean; his sister Ruth and many nieces and nephews and friends. He will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 1st United Church, 15385 Semiahmoo, White Rock, B.C.
