MINCHINTON (nee GRAY)Audrey May,
Passed away on July 30, 2007 at the Weatherby Pavilion, Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C. in her 95th year. Born to a pioneer Nanaimo family, Mrs Minchinton moved to Vancouver soon after her marriage and worked for many years as a bookkeeping machine operator at Western Bridge and Steel Fabricators(later Canron Steel) on False Creek. She eventually moved to White Rock where she retired in 1976.
Audrey is survived by her daughter-in-law Vicki, her four grandchildren, Sharon Shudo(Warren), Randy(Sandra), Carol, and Jeremy(Cory) and her three nephews Jim Gray(Shannon), Jim Frazer(Gloria) and Don Gray(Bonnie). Also survived by five great grandchildren: Christopher and Samantha Shudo, Jordan Minchinton and Amberleigh and Brodie Clarke.
Predeceased by her husband Jim in 1946, her long time companion Jack Falle in 1997 and her son Ross in 2002. Also predeceased by her sister Violet in 1978 and her brother Doug in 1993.
