Newcombe, Berkeley Richard
Berkeley Newcombe passed away on August 8, 2008 at Chilliwack Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 30, 1936 in Newton, B.C. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary in 2004. He is survived by his wife Sylvia, 5 children Maryanne, Carla, Bob, Cheryl and Paul, 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Berk enjoyed life to the fullest and his wonderful sense of humor will be missed greatly. A graveside service will be held on August 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Gardens 14644 - 72 Ave. in Surrey. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations to the BC Cancer Foundation into research for Angio-Sarcoma would be gratefully accepted.
