SPRINGMAN, Bernard

Of White Rock, British Columbia passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6th, 2017 at Peace Arch Hospital. Born in Leeder, Saskatchewan to Julius and Bertha Springman, the youngest of 4 siblings. Predeceased by Ollie and Walley, and survived by Margaret Lang of Calgary, Alberta. Bernie began his career as a salesman at Sterling Shoes in Calgary later in life, where he met Bonita Johnson and eventually they were married and moved to BC and had one son, Bradley, who was their pride and joy. Bernie became involved in real estate developement and sales, and was most proud of the time he spent working for Jack Poole as the Vice President of Daon Developement Corporation. From there they moved to Bellevue, Washington where Bernie excelled in real estate development and sales. A few years later after moving to California, Bernie and Bonnie separated, and he eventually met Monika Kita who became his friend and love for many years until his passing.

He was known for his amazing sense of humor, charismatic smile, positivity, and enormous heart. He never forgot to remind Bradley how much he loved him. He is survived by Bonnie, Bradley, and Monika. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

God saw you getting tired, a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you, and whispered "come to me"

A small service will be held for family at Peace Arch Hospital. Any donations can be made to dementia and Alzhiemers research.
