Betty passed away peacefully
after many existing health challenges. She was born and raised in Lloydminster, Sask. She married John (Jack) McVany in 1956, settling in White Rock and raising 4 daughters. They were happily married for 29 years, when he was suddenly taken from her. Years later she was fortunate to have met and fall in love with a wonderful man, Edward Cresswell, spending her last years peacefully in Slocan, BC. with Ed and kitty cat "Elsie". She will probably be remembered by all that knew her for her sense of humor, cheerful and cheeky disposition and loving nature. She was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and good friend. Sadly missed and fondly remembered. Survived by husband Edward, daughters Sharon (John), Wendy (Jordy) Brenda (Mike) Carol (Luke), sisters Lily (Paul) and Linda (Ray) and their families - as well as 9 much loved grandchildren, Juniper, Autumn, Viveka, Kate, Kai, Caylee, Tyler, Breah and Steven. Memorial service was held February 25, 2010 in Kelowna at First Memorial Funeral Services, Kelowna, BC. Phone 250-762-2299
