Born in “Harrow-on-the-Hill”, Middlesex, London, England. ASF Overseas Veteran 1939-1945, Signal Core Duty, Nurse in Training at Chelsea and Wembley Hospital during London “Blitz”. Immigrated to Calgary, Canada in 1956. Long time White Rock resident 1970-2004. Long record for outstanding dedicated community service to the mentally handicapped: full time Modern Service Centre volunteer, sole operator and full time volunteer for non profit Bargain Mart Thrift Store for the mentally handicapped, sale proceeds supported operating costs and free daily drop-in coffee/tea/parties for handicap persons; past Semiahmoo House Society Honourary member and Board Director.

Surviving children: Kandy(Hugh), Isla (David)Russell, Shelley; grandchildren: Adam (Kim), Jason, Lucinda, Robert (deceased), Aaron, Rebecca, Chelsea; great grandchildren Christian, Karlee, Katrinia, Chelsea, Kierran, Bailey.

A wonderful mother with a beautiful soul and a kindred spirit who loved people and the small pleasures in life. Very much loved and will be forever deeply missed, our dear mother, my life long companion.
