Bill of Cloverdale, B.C. born in Wynyard, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on September 29, 2003 at the age of 73 years. Predeceased by his parents; father, Bill Major Sr. and mother, Rose Major. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Tella Major.

Daughters; Jackie and Shauna, granddaughter; Megan Major, brother; Renee, sister; Melvina Blinn, cousin; Elsie Duerks and many more relatives including many nieces and nephews. Bill worked for the Municipality of Surrey for 30 years. He was a member of the Legion Branch #6 Cloverdale for 35 years. Thanks to all the doctors and nurses in the Palliative Care Unit, Peace Arch Hospital especially Dr. L. Darby.
No service by request. Reception was held on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the R.C.L. Legion Branch #6 - 17567 - 57th Avenue, Surrey, B.C. The tea & coffee will be catered by the Branch #6 L.A. members.
