SPRINGMAN, Bonita Ella

Bonita Ella Springman of White Rock BC passed away peacefully Sunday February 19, lovingly attended to by her family. She was born in Calgary Alberta to Emil and Pearl Johnson, the eldest of two sisters. Predeceasing her sister Vonda Joy Harvey. Bonnie grew up in Calgary living an active lifestyle. She was an accomplished figure skater and eventually became an instructor at Elizabeth Lesie Ltd Modeling school, and she also had an exercise show on tv.

Later in life she would marry Bernard Springman and give birth to one son, Bradley Bernard Springman. They ended up moving to BC, and then later to the United States. Some years later Bonnie and Bernard separated, and Bonnie began a very successful career in sales. When Bonnie retired, she moved back to BC to be closer to her son. She lived in White Rock for some time until she needed more help with her daily needs. Her final home was at the Al Hogg Pavillion, where she quickly made many friends. Bonnie was known for her sense of humour, her "tell it like it is" attitude, and her giant heart. She will be lovingly missed by her son and his wife, and the many friends and family members, who will miss her feisty spirit.

A Memorial will be held at Al Hogg Pavilion on Monday March 6, from 12-4.
