GARDENER-EVANS, Brian
After having fought a courageous 20 year battle with COPD, Brian Gardener-Evans passed away on December 10th 2008 at the age of 74. Brian grew up in Wales and England and immigrated to Canada in 1957 eventually settling in South Surrey with his wife and family. Brian was a well known businessman, running and consulting for a number of businesses in Ontario and western Canada. Brian was also an avid sailor and was probably at his happiest when on the water. He will be greatly missed by his wife Gwen and children, Bryn (Carrie) and Chris (Ron) as well as his grandchildren, Thomas, Jason and Samantha. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at the palliative care unit at Peace Arch Hospital for the wonderful nursing care and assistance. There will be no service by Brian's request.
