Byrl Darling

Passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on Friday, January 21, 2005 at the age of 86.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret; two daughters; Sherry DeSoete (Andre) of Edmonton, AB, Pam Hemmett (Rob) of Richmond, BC; son Don Darling (Rhonda) of Kelowna; five grandchildren; Shannon, Cameron, Scott, Stacey and Sheri-lyn; and one sister Fern Bennett of Wadena, SK.

Byrl was born May 15, 1918 in Elfros, SK, served in the RCAF and settled in White Rock, BC

He was President of Kiwanis for nine years and Vice President for two years.

Byrl loved the outdoors, flying; built his own plane, and loved his dogs.

There was a gathering for family and friends at Marg and Byrl's, 315 - 2330 Butt Road, Westbank, BC on Tuesday, January 25th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Brookhaven for their warm and compassionate care.
