Burns, Clarence
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clarence Burns (Shorty) Brown on November 23, 2008 at the of 91. Shorty is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Maxine. His four sons Michael, Warren (Rita), Ted, Dean (Jo) and three daughters, Carol Walker, Donna Hopkins (Randy) and Sharon Mooney. Fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Shorty was born on July 14, 1917 in Bow Island, Alberta. He spent his childhood in Peace River, Alberta before making his home in White Rock, B.C.
Shorty will be missed by all who knew him.
No funeral by request. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
