David Floyd Terriff . . . Poppa
November 11, 1919 ~ June 8, 2008
After a full and loving life of 88 years, Poppa passed away peacefully in the arms of his family and surrounded by love. His battle with pancreatic cancer was short and courageous, with enough time to say his personal goodbyes to all he loved. He touched the hearts of all he met. Husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa . . . known and loved by all his family as (Great) Poppa.
Sweet, loving, amazing, awesome, ‘Quiet Laddie Floyd’, curious, winking, intelligent, loyal, dignity, integrity, charming, enduring, warm, twinkling, thoughtful, strong, golfer, friend.
According to his wishes his passing was remembered by his immediate family in a private memorial. The whole Poppa gang will be gathering in early August to have a celebration of his life, including; a golf game, brunch, time at the beach and a few other activities that we have all enjoyed with our Poppa.
