WOODING, Dennis Charles lived a long and good life. He was born in England on January 27, 1920. He fought in World War 2 in England prior to immigrating to Canada. He moved to Vancouver, BC in 1959 with his wife Emma and daughter Pat. He recently remarried after Emma's passing to his current wife Erika. They were married 7 years and enjoyed each others company and he especially enjoyed her fabulous cooking. He is survived by his wife Erika, daughter Pat, son in law Jim and grandchildren Amanda and Allison. He enjoyed his many friends at the Kent Street Seniors Centre and also enjoyed his computer and picnics that Erika arranged for him. He was taken by a heart attack and died peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital on Saturday September 5, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. A reception for family and friends will be held in the next few weeks at his residence in White Rock.
