DIANA BROCKETT
Diana Brockett was born in Brakpan, South Africa on the 2nd of February 1953. She died peacefully at home with her husband Stuart by her side, on the 20th of January 2006 in White Rock, Canada, at the age of 52, after a long battle with Cancer.
Diana was a woman who inspired all around her. She moved to Canada in 2000, and became a Canadian Citizen in 2005. She lived life to the fullest, with love, devotion, caring, resilience, passion and determination one can only dream of. Diana never gave up, she fought, with everything she had, right to the end, however through it all she was willing to accept life or death with the greatest of peace.
We never knew that morning that
God was going to call your name
In life we loved you dearly
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
you did not go alone
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same
but as God calls us one by one
the chain will link again.
Diana's final thoughts for the ones she loved were "Although I am no longer amongst you, know that I am always with you."
Sadly Missed, but never forgotten, by her husband Stuart, son & daughters, Craig, Lauren and Michelle, Granddaughters Alicia and Kristen, father, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, and all her friends both in South Africa and Canada.
