GORDON: Doris. Passed away Nov. 16, 2006 following a battle with lung cancer. Born in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan in 1928, she spent the latter years in Vancouver and Breakaway Bays Mobile Home Park in South Surrey.
Doris was pre-deceased in Jan/06 by Byron, her husband of 39 years. She is survived by a sister Bea Pawluk of New Westminster, brother Larry Cook of St. Paul, Minnesota, brother Stan Cook of Coquitlam and many nieces and nephews. She also is survived by Byron's children, Linda Pollock of Ladner, Susan (Barry) Bate of Surrey and Patti Gordon of Delta.
Doris and Byron spent many years as members of Grandview and Hazelmere Golf Courses during which time they traveled south for winters in San Diego, Hawaii and Portugal.
