May 3, 1919 - January 28, 2004. Our wonderful mother and devoted wife left this world on Wednesday evening without complaint and in the presence of her best friend and loving husband, Jim and son Donald. She leaves behind a family in awe of her joyful spirit throughout a difficult two years of failing health. Dorothy will be sadly missed by daughters Margaret (Greg) Holmes and Patricia (Gordon) Robertson and son Donald (Sharon) Lyder. Her life was blessed by four grandchildren; Kimberly and Shannon Holmes, Nyree Gustafson and Jason Lyder. Dorothy will be cremated and laid to rest in Victory Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Surrey, B.C. where her sister Ethel Grant was laid to rest in April of last year.
