Vidian-Jones, Dorothy Eliza (Williams)

Born Sept. 14th, 1927 in Medicine Hat, Alta. Dorothy passed away peacefully on May 8th 2010 in White Rock B.C. She will be missed dearly by her loving family which includes husband Ryan Vidian-Jones, son Colin Vidian-Jones (Kathy), daughter Glynis Lumley (David), grandchildren Brianne Lumley, Meagan Jones and Mariah Lumley, cousins Brian Williams (Audrey), Valerie Dyke (David), brother in law Tom Sissons, nieces Leigh Smythe (Ron), Gwen Rasmussen (Terry), and nephew Graham Sissons (Dauna). Dorothy was a remarkable, energetic, courageous, outspoken free-spirited woman. Once you met Dorothy you could be sure to never forget her! She had an incredible sense of humour and unshakable optimism along with a work ethic that many would find difficult to compete with. She was loyal beyond a doubt to her friends and her wit and fiery temper challenged us all! Any social situation became immediately more interesting and vibrant as soon as Dorothy walked in. It is unimaginable and heartbreaking to think of a world without our mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, teacher and friend. She truly will be missed here on earth and heaven will have gained a shining star. A Celebration of Dorothy's life will he held at her home in White Rock, July 10th, 2010.
