Passed away on October 18, 2005 at 6am at George Pearson Centre.
Doug was born on October 26, 1933 in Comox.
Survived by his 2 children Tanya and Mark.
He lived in White Rock for many years and was involved with the Legion and the Master Tugboat Historical Society.
After long service for Reimer trucking, he retired in 1998.
His generosity and sense of humour will be missed.
A memorial service was held at George Pearson Centre, 700 West 57th Ave, Vancouver (604-321-3231) at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2005.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ward 6 @ George Pearson Centre in Doug's name.
