Earl Walter Chase

November 29, 2004

Born April 27, 1916, passed away under the gentle care of the staff on Weatherby 1 at Peace Arch Hospital on November 29th, 2004.

Thanks be to God for his life.

He leaves Joy - his wife of 62 years; his children John, David (Lynn) and Wendy (Ed); and eight grandchildren; (Todd, Terry, Gina, Ben Matt, Joel, Adrianne and Anneke).

Earl was born and raised in the Unity area of Saskatchewan.

In 1940 he moved to North Vancouver to work as a a welder and an electrician in the shipyards.

Following the war he entered the business of wiring commercial buildings which led to wiring homes in North and West Vancouver.

From 1962 to 1982 he was employed in electrical maintenance by Erco Industries.

In retirement Earl found great satisfaction as a volunteer with the Tiny Y Pre-School at Crescent United and with his children's "unseen forces" shows in his home garage.

A Memorial Service was held at Crescent United Church (2756 - 127th Street) on Saturday, December 4th at 2:30 pm.
