Elizabeth Anne Kurth
Betty Kurth passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 29, 2007 at Peace Arch Hospital. She was born on August 25, 1948 in Vancouver. Betty was a devoted mother, loving wife and a dedicated teacher in Surrey. She enjoyed life to the fullest - she accepted any challenge that came her way. She participated in ice skating on her precision team, she loved growing dahlias and enjoyed traveling. Her family and friends were of utmost importance to her. Betty was very strong and appeared to beat all odds against her fight with cancer. Her faith in God and her love for family and friends kept her strong until the final days. Betty leaves behind her loving husband, Wally, children Louise (Joel), David (Andria) and Michael as well as her parents, George & Blanche Bosdet - also her sister, Ginny (Dick), her brother, Bruce (Christine), and brother in-law, Hans as well as mother-in law, Hildegard - nieces and nephews, Barb, Karen, Doug, Linda, Geoffrey, Stephen, Adam, Pamela, Daniel & Monica and her many friends. Betty is dearly missed but she will live on in our hearts forever! A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Cloverdale Baptist Church - 18685 - 64 Ave, Surrey. All who knew and loved Betty are welcome to this celebration.
