BROADWAY, Elizabeth
(Betty), passed away peacefully at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock on Sunday, May 9, 2010, in her 86th year. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Norman; her children Sandra, Brian, Allan, and Karen; ten of her eleven grandchildren Jeffrey, Stephen, Nicole, Genevieve, Alexandra, Nikolai, Katrina Matthew, Lindsay and Elizabeth (her grandson Christopher predeceased her) and her seven great grandchildren Parker, Serena, Ruby, Ronan, Zacharie, Charles & Lochlan.
The family would like to express its gratitude to the Acute Care Nursing Team at Peace Arch Hospital for their compassion and exemplary care. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Betty's name to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation.
A memorial will take place on Wednesday May 12, at 2:30pm at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14664 72nd Ave., Surrey.
