Eva Zofia Morris

MORRIS: Eva Zofia - It is with great sadness and loving memories that we announce the passing of Eva Morris. Eva was born in Lublin, Poland and passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in White Rock on March 9, 2004 at the tender age of 82.

Eva had a full and rich life. After serving as an Army Nursein WWII, she immigrated to Canada with her young son George. Eva then migrated West from Montreal to raise her growing family in White Rock. She continued with her nursing career at Vancouver General and Surrey Memorial Hospitals and became a very active member of the community.

Eva was a wonderfully talented artist and a founding member of the White Rock/South Surrey Community Arts Council.

Eva was an amazing and fiercely devoted mother of four: George (Susan) of Montreal, Robin (Roberta), Eva (Dave) and Linda (Curt) of White Rock; a Grandma "Baba" of seven: Jesse, Geoffrey,Sarah (John) of Montreal, Jennifer (Mark), Kim (Ryan), Jacob and Emily; a Great Grandma "Baba" of two: Maddie and Jayden. The Ebinger family of Saskatoon: Wyn, Dick, Pat, Kathy and Jim, her closest friends, Margaret Cleland and Ann and Bill Breaks, whom she dearly loved as family.

"Baba", we know that you are now a beautiful angel in heaven, because to us, you were the most beautiful person on earth. We will miss your pink kisses and warm hugs.

Mom, your amazing strength, determination , infectious laughter and sense of humor will be greatly missed. You were truly one of a kind. You are now reunited and resting in the loving arms of your family lost so long ago.

A celebration of Eva's life was held on Sunday, March 14, 2004, at 2:30 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, B.C.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Eva to the B.C. Lung Association, 2675 Oak Street, Vancouver, B.C. V6H 2K2
