Passed away peacefully on December 23, 2002 at Coquihalla-Gillis House. She was predeceased by her husband Lenard V.C. Wells on March 12, 2001. Elaine is survived by one son, Arthur Macdonald of Merritt and one sister, Valerie Duina of Vancouver and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elaine was a long time Nicola Valley resident, moving from the Macdonald family ranch to Merritt in the early 1940's to enable the Macdonald boys to attend school. In the mid 1980's, Lenard and Elaine moved to White Rock until about a year and a half ago when she moved back home after the loss of her husband. A memorial service will be held in Elaine's honour on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity United Church in Merritt.
