Passed away quietly at the Peace Arch Hospital on the 5th of October, 2003 in her 89th year. She was born on the 20th of April, 1914 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband George Bennett, her parents Victor and Millicent Finch, sister Cora, brother-in-law Ted, niece Brenda, brother Ray and her sister-in-law Rose.
She is survived and will be sorely missed by her brothers Len (Donna), Allan (Dorothy), her sisters Vivian (Dave), Carol (Al), Elsie (Keith). Her five children Budd (Fran), Eileen (Bill), Bob (Ruth), Len (Donna), Karel (Michael), 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Evelyn requested cremation with no service. Donations to the Heart Fund would be greatly appreciated.
