McDONALD, Francis William. November 4, 1914 – January 22, 2006. Died peacefully in the arms of his family at home. Grieved by his wife Violet; children, Margot and Robert; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and, the broader circle of his family who number in the scores. He was much loved and will be sorely missed, though it is believed that he is in a better place. Instead of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to children’s charities, such as Ronald McDonald House.
