Westgate, Frank (George) of Kelowna. Long time resident of White Rock and Surrey. Born in Vancouver June 15, 1919, passed away in Kelowna Hospital on Monday, December 20, 2004 at the age of 85 after a tragic car accident. He leaves to mourn his wife Violet; son Daryl (Gail) of Surrey, daughters Darba of Calgary and Dwli (Scotty) of Kelowna; six grandchildren Kerry (James) of Calgary, Angie (Warren) of Westbank, Dana (Wade) and Danny (Jeannie) of Rutland, Ryan and Kristi (Rick) of White Rock; ten great grandchildren and one step great-grandchild all of whom he adored so very much. He is also survived by three sisters, Dorothy of Coquitlam, Jessie (Phil) of Surrey, Florence (Hank) of Saskatchewan and his late brother's wife Phyllis of Red Deer, alos many nieces and nephews. A remembrance gathering was held for friends and family in Kelowna and another one will be held in Surrey for friends and family locally, date to be announced later. Cremation. Donations may be sent in memory of George to Canuck Place or Childrens Hospital.
