SCOTT, Gary
Gary Scott, 77, of White Rock, B.C, passed away peacefully after his long battle with cancer. Born in Helmsworth, York County, England, he served as a steam engineer in the British Merchant Navy, traveling the world. Back at home, he met and married Adele Lewis and they emigrated to Prince Rupert, B.C., where they had two children. He moved, with his family in tow, through multiple northern towns, working in the pulp industry. In 1979, he settled in White Rock where he lived in the same residence until his passing. He is survived by his daughter, Alexandra, her husband Randy and their two children, Jack and Nya. His son Patrick, his wife Maia, and their daughter, Paige. An informal memorial service will be held at #8 White Rock Legion, Saturday, Feb. 25th from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name to the Peace Arch Hospice would be appreciated.
