RICHMAN, Gordon Beverley
The family sadly announces the passing of Gordon, peacefully in his home, in White Rock, on June 8th, 2009. Gordon was in his 87th year, and was predeceased by his loving wife Connie (Selkirk), brother Mel, and sisters Audrey and Dorothy. Gordon is survived by his sister Thelma (Ray) Stark. He will be dearly missed by close friend Dorothy Colebrook, son Gordon William (Pam Sutton), grandchildren William, Ryan & Shane, and son Craig Michael (Lisa) & grandchildren Jillian, Hayley & Brody.
Gordon was born on December 27th, 1921 in London, Ontario. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces in WWII. He married Connie March 31st, 1949, and raised their 2 sons in Edmonton. Gordon & Connie retired to Saltspring Island in 1985, later moving to White Rock.
Gordon's kind and thoughtful nature will be remembered in our hearts forever. A memorial Service will be held at Stratford Gardens, 15350 19A Ave., Surrey, at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 18th, 2009, following a graveside service at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14644 72nd Ave. Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation is appreciated.
