DRURY, Grace Edith
Was born in Newdale, Manitoba on
March 11, 1921. Attended school in Newdale. Lived on a farm for a number of years. Moved to B.C. about 1948 with her parents. Lived in Burnaby a short time before moving to White Rock about 1949. Grace was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1943. She met Peter Drury in 1950, were married in 1953, moved to the Whalley area in 1955. Grace had a strong love for Jehovah God and had strong faith in the resurrection hope that Jesus promised John 5:28:29. Grace is survived by her loving husband Peter of 55 years, niece Audrey Gerrard and Claire of Strathclair Man., nephew Doug Davis & Ivy of Mayerthorpe, Alberta. Also Grand nieces & nephews, sister - in - law Arlene McArthur and husband Jim. Sister-in-law Eileen Honey. Grace was predeceased by her sister Bernice, sister Blanch, brother Oliver. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial will be held for her on Nov. 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the North Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 14832-24th Ave.
