OWEN, Griffith Daniel born August 8, 1923 in South Vancouver passed away peacefully on May 4, 2008. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Pat; his sons Brian (Anne) and Barrie (Judy); 2 grandchildren Sean and Jade; sister Catherine Allan; nieces; nephews; many relatives and good friends. Griff was a pilot with the R.A.F. and the R.C.A.F. from 1940 to 1970. He then worked briefly for the Vancouver Health Dept. until his retirement to White Rock. The family thanks the staff at VGH and Peace Arch Hospital for their attentive care of Griff. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
