PETERSON Harold William (Bill) passed away peacefully on November 19, 2009 at Peace Arch Hospital with his daughter at his side. Bill was born in Duncan, moved to Victoria and then to the Lower Mainland in 1966. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis; son, Ian (Cher); daughters Ann, Cheri, Christine (Chris); grandchildren, Brian, Vanessa, Shae, Sarah, Alex, Jonathan, Timothy and Tamara. Bill had a long career with the Workers Compensation Board prior to retirement. Bill was an avid wood carver, his favourite being carving toys for his grandchildren. Bill was very involved with White Rock Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service was held at White Rock Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 followed by Interment at Victory Memorial Park Cemetery.
