RAUCH; Harold
Passed away Saturday, March 9th, 2009 at White Rock, BC. He was born October 23, 1921 at Leader, SK. Harold married Esther (Hein) July 27, 1946 in Vancouver, BC. They operated a butcher shop and grocery store in Vancouver, which serviced fishing boats until 1950 when the moved to Leader, SK and operated a locker plant and meat market until early 1971. In 1971 they retired and moved to White Rock, BC and built a home where they continue to reside. He is survived by his wife Esther and sons Ken (Pat), Ron (Audrey) and grand-children, Jason, Lisa & Kelly Rauch and great-grand- children, Cheryl, Joshua, Keegan & Noah Rauch. He is also survived by four sisters Edith Graham, Elsie (Mac) McRobert, Violet Locke and Ruby (Henry) Fedoruk and sisters-in-law, Rose Rauch, Irma Rauch, Eva Hein and Winnie (Gary) Hein, also numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews. A memorial reception to celebrate the life of Harold Rauch will be held Thursday May 14, at 5:00 pm at Fraser Heights First Memorial, 14835 Fraser Hwy, Surrey. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
