TETT, Harold Mortimer

1927-2005,

Formerly of Thunder Bay, and Surrey since 1995, Harold left his loving family and friends June 20 following a courageous battle with cancer. His 78 years were filled with a productive and enriched life as a father, husband, friend, architect, sailor, jazz lover and active community member. An optimist who loved progressive ideas, Harold's blue eyes sparkled to the end. He is survived by his wife Catherine, his children Jennifer, Alison (Elliot), Robert (Fran), Erin and John, three grandchildren and his sister Betty. A memorial service to celebrate Harold's life, conducted by Rev. Barbara Davenport, will be held on Wed., June 29 at 2 p.m., in the pavilion of Peace Arch Park, located off Hwy. 99 (before the Border) & Beach Rd. (watch for signs). In lieu of flowers and if desired, donations in his memory may be directed to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit), the Fraser Home Health Service, the South Fraser Unitarian Congregation or to the David Suzuki Foundation.
