He was a member of the Legion at the time of his death.

After the war he worked for the Railway Express Agency for many years and then BC Ferries at Deas Dock until retirement in 1985.

He enjoyed his South Surrey home during retirement and the daily walks with dogs, Benj and Barney, including regular visits and stops with the neighbors and friends.

Frequently Kisses their cat joined them for the walks.

The cul-de-sac residents are very close knit and everyone looks after everyone. A special note from the family

"Thank You Neighbors and Friends for your special care and love for our Henry".

As well a special Thank You to the Doctors and Nurses at Peace Arch Hospital for their tremendous assistance when Henry became critically ill.

Henry enjoyed and was very proud of his family.

He always had time for each and every one of them.

No service by request, however the family hosted friends and neighbors at the family home on Friday, Sept 29th.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke or other charity of your choice is appreciated.
