Ina Rose Harrison

Ina Rose (nee Redburn) passed away at Cedar Hill Centre in Langley, B.C. on August 12, 2002 at the age of 78 years. Born August 7, 1924 in Ottawa, Ontario, baptized August 31, 1924 at the Church of England, Ottawa. Married February 8, 1944 at St. Andrew's United Church, Lachine, Quebec and moved to Surrey, B.C. in August 1958.


Ina is survived by her children Gordon (Carrie), Wayne (Robin), Albert, Donald (Linda), Cathy (Patrick), Janice and Sandra (Kelly); grandchildren Steve, Phillip, Bradley, Teresa, Jennifer, Kelly, Kyle, April, Kristen, Brenna, Kayla, Jolene, Brianne, Jordan and Sharon. Also step-grandchildren Arick, Kary, Cassie and Tyler; great grandchildren Taylor, Hailey, Raven, Reece, Katrina, Marissa, Bret and Kaydon; step-great grandhcildren Kurtis and Leah, as well as one great-great grandchild Michelle. She is also survived by brother Gordon (Gislene) Redburn and sisters Lillian Adamson, Grace Hawkins and Dorothy Moody.


Ina was predeceased by Philip, her husband of 51 years (1995), son Stanley Eldean (1962), grandson Michael Allen Turner (1974) and daughter Sharon Patricia Harrison (1975), brothers Charles (1985) and George (1998).


Funeral Service will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, South Surrey on Monday, August 19, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Louise Cummings (St. Andrew's United Church) officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Victory Memorial Park at a later date. Viewing time for family and friends on Sunday, August 18, 2002 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday at 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of B.C. would be appreciated.
