Known with affection by her family and
friends "Donnie", in her 84th year passed away on June 19th, 2007 at Peace Arch Memorial Hospital White Rock, B.C.
Wife of the late Gordon Armstrong, who predeceased her in 1993. Donnie and Gordon were both members of pioneer families who settled in Surrey in the late 1800s. Mother of two loving children Maureen of Toronto and Brian of White Rock and mother-in-law to spouses Malcolm and Kim. Grandmother of Christopher Finch and
Jordan Fraser, great-grandmother to
Kanden and Quinn.
Donnie was also predeceased by
sisters Audrey and Velma. Donnie was a terrific mother, the finest mother-in-law, and a good friend. Her warm, wonderful smile and wonderful sense of humour will be missed by everyone who knew her.
A reception for family and friends will be held Sunday, June 24 from 2p.m.
to 6 p.m. at Beecher Place, 12160 Beeche Street, Crescent Beach.
