Devoted husband and father, passed away suddenly on April 4, 2006 at Peace Arch Hospital.
He is survived by Blanche, his wife of 65 years; children Judy (Milton) and Lee (Elaine); grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ray was born and raised in Saskatchewan but after serving in WWII he and Blanche moved to B.C. and lived for many years in Surrey while he worked for The Great Northern Railway.
In 1976 they moved to White Rock where they have resided for the past thirty years.
Ray made friends wherever he went and went out of his way to help people. Their home was always open and you knew that you were welcome and appreciated. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
