She enjoyed tennis, hiking and skiing.

She was an ardent bridge plyaer and a Life Member of the Scottish Country Dance Society.

For several years she was a volunteer E.S.L. teacer.

In 1995 she developed Alzheimers but continued to play tennis until August 1998 when a disabling stroke made it necessary for her to reside in Weatherby Pavilion, where despite her impediment she was always cheery.

The family would like to thank the staff members who provided wonderful care.
