James Alexander Ingram

Born July 17, 1933 in

Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully at home January 15, 2007.

Jim is predeceased by his wife Shirley.

Survived by his daughters, Barbara (Al) and Erin (Darryl); grandchildren, Amy, Jayce, Abigayle; his loving companion, Donna and her daughter, D'Arcy (Roy); grandchildren, Tera, R.J., Blaine, and great-granddaughter, Sara; brothers, Ray, Gordon and George. He will also, be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.

At an early age, Jim moved from Saskatchewan to BC and had a successful and varied career beginning as an electrician in sawmills and ending as an electrical inspector for the provincial government.

Much of his retired life was spent volunteering with the Royal Canadian Legion and various other associations. Jim will always be remembered as a gentle soul with a heart of gold.

Graveside ceremony will be held on January 22nd at 12:00 noon at Surrey Centre Cemetery, 16671 Old Mclellan Road, followed by a memorial service at the Crescent Beach, #240 Royal Canadian Legion, 2643 - 128th St., South Surrey, BC at 2:00 pm.
