Jessie Viola (nee Johnson) age 94. Born November 21, 1907 National City, California passed away peacefully with her children at her side at Westminster House, White Rock, B.C. August 19, 2002.
Predeceased by her husband Mansel, sons Oliver and Jim, grandson Marcel, parents John and Hattie Johnson and brother Clarence. Survived by sons Tom (Jennifer), David (Nora), daughters Doris (Kurt) Banzer and Alice Steffensen. 22 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren, sister Vera McDermid and brother Howard (Joan).
Jessie moved to the Prince George area with her parents while in her teens and spent most of the next 63 years raising a family and working at Prince George Hospital. She retired to the Okanagan area in 1985. Jessie will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends and will always be remembered by her beautiful smile.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held August 31, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Prince George Funeral Home, 1014 Douglas Street, Prince George, B.C.
